A preview to Jesus dying on the cross is in the Passover lamb in the Old Testament. Read 1 Corinthians 5:7 (in the last part of the verse) For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.
Paul is saying the Old Testament Passover was a preview of Jesus Christ on the cross. It is His blood, not the Passover lamb in the Old Testament’s Passover in Egypt was the “True Passover” for our soul’s eternal redemption. Please read Revelation 12:11, Leviticus 16, Isaiah 58 for more scripture on Jesus’ Blood and His dying on the Cross for all of us. When we have to have a proper sense of values and perspective on life, we don’t take for granted Jesus dying for us on the cross and our salvation through Him. It would be foolish not to meet “eternal glory” for the sake of a few brief years here on earth doing sin. What is more important? The most important thing in life is to do the “Will of God”.

We are sanctified through the Blood of Jesus.
“Through the Blood of Jesus, I am sanctified, made holy, set apart to God, separated from sin, made holy with God’s holiness.” You can change the words a little as long as it’s truthful.

Each father of Israel had to have a certain lamb without defect, none of the blood of the lamb could hit the ground. They were to put it on the doors of their home. Not on the threshold.
