Paintings of flowers and palm trees on the wall were sold to Suzae’s friend Sabine, who has a collection of her paintings. This location where Suzae is painting her shoes has seen its coffee shops, retail stores, and now a clothing store graces this location. Longtime Lake Worth Beach resident Andy Amoroso and his mother started at this location years ago. Suzae wrote him a poem during Andy’s run for Lake Worth City Commissioner, and he won! Her poetry book was on Kavasutra’s coffee table. Her poems were on display at Maryanne Webber Gallery, Mr. Shoe Repair, Rooney’s Imports, which sponsored Suzae Chevalier in the Lake Worth Street Painting Festival, the Pelican restaurant, Kavasutra, Kiliwin’s Icecream shop, the Palm Beach Toojays sent a poem to the headquarters, which received a copy, and U-Prints at the time had it on display. Dave’s Last Resort, Brogues, Rumshack, where she did standup comedy, and other stores were in her poetry book “Ma Cherie Amor: Green Eyed Lady as well.” The owners were very proud of their poems and kept copies for themselves.
