It’s a misconception that we automatically go to heaven
God gave us free will to go back to Him. He only wants the dedicated Christians that are all out for Him to be in heaven. That is why in the Old Testament, it was only the remnant that God chose.
NEW AGE FOOLED ME FOR A BIT
I used to think we automatically went to heaven because we have past and future lives. This is a New Age concept where people believe in “karma”. Even though people are mislead by the New Age, God does look at your heart when you do helps someone like a homeless person on the street by giving willing out of your heart with your “free will”.
